hello everybody it is Mr Hamel I am back with a story for you let me ask you a question have you ever had a really really really really really really really bad day nothing went right everything upset you and you felt like everything was going wrong for you well we're going to Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day by Judith viorst this book has been around so that I read it when I was Yuri it's an old book but it's a really good story and we're going to see what's up with his kids day Okay so let us get started Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day I went to sleep with gum in my mouth and now there selling my hair and when I got out of bed this morning I tripped on the skateboard and by mistake I dropped my sweater in the sink while the water was running and I could tell it was going to be a terrible horrible no good very bad day add breakfast Anthony found a Corvette Stingray car kit in his breakfast cereal box and Nick found a junior undercover agent code ring in his breakfast cereal box but in my breakfast cereal box all I found was breakfast cereal I think I'll move to Australia in the carpool mrs. Gibson Ledbetter have a seat by the window Audrey and Elliot got seats by the window to I said I was being scrunched I said I was being pushed I said if I don't get a seat by the window I'm going to be car sick no one answer I could tell it was going to be a terrible horrible no good very bad day at school mrs. Dickens like Paul's picture of the sailboat better than my picture of the invisible Castle a scene time she said I sent to accounting time she said I left out 1616 I could tell it was going to be a terrible horrible no good very bad day I could tell because Paul said I wasn't his best friend anymore he said Phillip Parker was his best friend and that Albert Moya was his next best friend and that I was on third best friend I hope you said I attacked I said to call I hope the next time you get a double decker strawberry ice cream cone ice cream Park falls off the cone Park and lands in Australia there were two cupcakes in Philip Parker's lunch bag and Albert got a Hershey bar with almonds and Paul's mother gave him a piece of jelly roll that had little coconut guess whose mother forgot to put in desert it was a terrible horrible no good very bad day so far I can understand why he's been upset most of the day doesn't seem like a great day for anybody is it get any better or if it just stays like a stinky day that's what it was because after school my mom took all of us to the dentist and Doctor Fields found a cavity just in me come back next week and I'll fix it the doctor feels next week I said I'm going to Australia he does not look happy here does he that is a big old cranky face right there on the way downstairs why were waiting for my mom to go get the car company made me fall where it was money and then when I started crying because of the Knicks said I was a crybaby I wanted was punching Nick for saying crybaby my mom came back with the car and scolded me for being money and fighting I am having a terrible horrible no good very bad but no one even answered so then we went to the shoe store to buy some sneakers Anthony Joe's white ones with Stripes Nick chose red ones with white stripes I chose blue ones with red stripes but then the shoe man said we're all sold out they made me by plain old white one but they can't where them when we picked up my dad at his office he said I couldn't play with this copy machine but I forgot he also said to watch out for the Chinese cask and I was careful as could be except for my elbow he also said his phone but I think I called Australia my dad said please don't I'm up anymore it was a terrible horrible no good very bad day lima beans for dinner I hate Limas it was kissing on TV and I hate kissing my dad was too hot I got soap in my my marble went down the drain and I had to wear my Railroad train pajamas I hate my Railroad train pajamas when I went to bed Nick took back the pillow he said I could keep and the Mickey Mouse night light burned out and a bit my tongue the cat wants to sleep with Anthony not with me it has been a terrible horrible no good very bad day my mom says some days are like that even in Australia well Alexander's day just get me better did it he had a pretty stinky day all around he had a terrible horrible no good very bad day or will you thinking when when I was reading the book that maybe his they would get better at something nice or something what happened to him I was thinking that I remember thinking that the first time I read this book but Alexander's mom it's right sometimes we just have bad days sometimes we just have days where it seems like nothing goes right for us or we're just sad or angry and upset everything that goes wrong really upset so I remember having those days when I was a kid and I can remember still having them as a grown up sometimes it just happens some days are just stinkers but we make up for it cuz somehow we have amazing crazy wonderful day too so member if you having a terrible horrible no good very bad day when you're having a day to remember even have great days to maybe you guys can think of a terrible horrible no good very bad day that you had happened on that day stinky stuff that upset you happen is there anything you could have changed about that day was just up there was nobody things just didn't go your way that day think about that maybe talk to your family about it maybe ask your parents grandparents or your brothers and sisters to tell you about a terrible horrible no good very bad day that they had because I promise you I promise you everybody in the whole wide world has had a terrible horrible no good very bad day and we will have more than one we don't have them but they happen sometimes I think about that and talk about your Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day together okay that is our story for now I will see you guys soon I will add more stories and right now I'm just going to say good night
